Shirley Craig Kirtley

Shirley Craig Kirtley  64, of Owensboro, Kentucky died Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  Shirley Craig Kirtley was born September 14, 1951 in Cairo, Illinois to the late William Finis and Mattie Bea Sorrels Kirtley and was married to the former Constance Mae Cyr on September 16, 1980.  He earlier worked at Ford Motor Company in Louisville, was a member of the Methodist Faith, and an avid Chicago Cubs Fan.

          Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Connie Kirtley; a brother, Darrell Kirtley of Louisville; and two sisters, Patty Maddox of Central City and Susan Edmonds of Island.

          Private family services will be held at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Lanny Garner officiating.  Burial will be in the Island Community Cemetery in McLean County.

          The Shirley Craig Kirtley family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Island Community Cemetery Fund; C/O Susan Edmonds; 125 East Broadway; Island, Kentucky  42350.  Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Livermore.
