Russell E. Revlett

Russell E. Revlett  81, of Calhoun, Kentucky, formerly of Beaver Dam died Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Hermitage Care and Rehabilitation Center in Owensboro.  Russell Earl Revlett was born December 11, 1934 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Theodore Lee and Verda Mae Conrad Revlett, was married to the former Lucy Lee Bivins in 1963 until her death on February 7, 2009, and was later married to the former Shirley Ann Phillips in February of 2010.  Russell retired as a superintendent from Peabody Coal Company, was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church, and was a U.S. Air Force and Army veteran, serving in the Korean War.  He enjoyed playing golf, traveling, and entertaining both his family and friends.  In addition to his parents and first wife, Russell was preceded in death by a grandson, Issac Shoulders. 

          Survivors include his wife, Shirley Revlett; two sons, Larry Hulette of Beaver Dam and Steve Hulette of Birmingham; a daughter, LaDonna Shoulders of Dixon; four grandchildren, Chris Hulette, Tony Hulette, Heather Riley, and Brandy Blue; 2 great granddaughters; a brother, Casper Revelett of Sacramento; and two sisters, Geneviee Travis of Fredonia and Janice McClaskey of Sacramento.

          Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Revs. Glenn Armstrong and Ken Berggren officiating and Military Honors conducted by the McLean County Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post #5415.  Burial will be in the Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam.  Friends may visit with Russell’s family from 10:30 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Musters in Calhoun.
