Pearl M. Thompson

Pearl M. Thompson 82, of Elba, Kentucky died Friday July, 24, 2015 at her home.  Pearl Magdeline Dant was born April 16, 1933 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late A.G. and Opal Sutton Dant and was married to Robert Ural Thompson.  Pearl retired from G.E. in Owensboro, was a lifelong member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, and really enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Thompson on January 1, 2006, a son Robert Glenn Thompson on December 21, 1963, and a daughter Beverly Jean Thompson on October 23, 2003.

          Survivors include three sons; Randy and his wife Judy Thompson of Calhoun, Roger Thompson of Elba, and Rick and his wife Angie Thompson of Elba; a daughter, Bernice T. and her husband Tony Ayer of Calhoun; ten grandchildren: Bryan Ayer, Chad Ayer, Kevin Thompson, Jeremy Thompson, Gage Thompson, Garrett Thompson, Larry Wedding, Taylor Kasinger, Caitlin Ranburger, and Kaylee Ranburger; and 10 great grandchildren

          Funeral services will be held at 3:30 P.M. Monday at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in St. Joseph with the Rev. Richard Powers officiating.  Burial will be in the St. Alpnonsus Cemetery.  Friends may visit with Pearl’s family from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Sunday with a prayer service held at 6:00 P.M. and from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Musters in Calhoun Monday and 2:30 P.M. till services. Monday at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.

          The Family of Pearl M. Thompson asks that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Building Fund.  Envelopes will be available at Musters in Calhoun.
