Linda May Southerland

Linda May Southerland 69, of Livermore, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 19, 2017 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky.  Linda May Brand was born June 13, 1948 in Rockville Center, New York to the late Louis T. and Marjoram A. Brown Brand.  Before her illness, she was a banker at Woodforest Bank in Owensboro, enjoyed reading, and attended Livermore Missionary Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Southerland, Jr.; son, Allen Wade Plunkett; and brothers, Robert Louis Brand, Allen Wade Brand, and Edward Drozynski. 

          Survivors include six children, Robert Louis Plunkett of Madisonville, Timothy Ray Plunkett of Dawson Springs, Elizabeth Dawn Baldwin of Livermore, John Wayne Plunkett of St. Peters, MO, William Plunkett of Elsie, MI, and Carl Patrick Southerland of Indianapolis, IN; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; five siblings, Gail Patricia Santorelli, Mark Brand, Donna Marie Brand, Louis Paul Brand, and Carol Shumaker; several nieces and nephews.

          Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday at the Green River Memorial Gardens in Livermore with Rev. Clive Bell officiating.  There will be no public visitation.  Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel is handling the services for Linda’s family.
