Ruth Davis Wakefield

Ruth Davis Wakefield 82, of the Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville formerly of Calhoun, died, April 5, 2015 at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.  Ruth Chatterton Davis was born March 22, 1933 in McLean County to the late Clarence & Alma Blackford Davis. and was married to Joseph Irma Wakefield who died on October 11, 1992.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hopkinsville.  In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Alton Davis and LJ Davis and 2 sisters; Jean D. Taylor and Gladys Boswell.   

          Survivors a daughter, Debra W. Davis of Hendersonville, TN; three grandsons; D. Brian Howell and his wife Teresa, Matthew E. Davis, and Jonathan A. Davis; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

          Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Tony St.Clair officiating.  Burial will be in the Pleasant Hope Cemetery in McLean County.  Friends may visit with Ruth’s family from 11:00 A.M. until until time of services Thursday at Musters in Calhoun.
