Mildred M. Downs

Mildred M. Downs, 97 of Livermore, Kentucky died Sunday, July 26 at Riverside Manor Healthcare Center in Calhoun.  Mildred was born July 30, 1917 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Hubb and Willie Belle Taylor Cobb and was married to Louis E. Downs. She was a homemaker and a member of Livermore General Baptist Church.  Mildred volunteered with Livermore Senior Citizens and was very craft oriented.  She was preceded in death by her husband Louis E. Downs on October 31, 1981; two sons, Dannie E. Downs, Sr. and James H. Downs; and a daughter Bettie A. Morris.

          Survivors include a son; Robert M. and his wife Patty L. Downs of Morganfield; a daughter Gloria D. Downs and her partner Jeanette Stogner of Livermore; twelve grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

          Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Roy Day officiating.  Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Livermore.  Friends may visit Mildred’s family from 11:00AM  until service time Wednesday at Musters in Livermore.
