Michael A. Abney 58, of Livermore, Kentucky, formerly of Rumsey died Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Baptist Health Madisonville. Michael Alan Abney was born June 19, 1956 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Henry Allen and Mary Margaret Parks Abney and was married to the former Deborah Jane Peveler on August 22, 1998. Mike was a residential and commercial floor installer and enjoyed playing the guitar.
Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Deborah Abney; three brothers, Jeff Abney of Campbellsville, Barry Abney of Owensboro, and Tim Abney of Sacramento; and a sister, Sue Haimes of Friendly Village.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at Mount Pisgah Cemetery in Muhlenberg County with Dr. Richard Sams officiating. There will be no public visitation. Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for the Abney family.
