My mother, Rachel Jackson, lived at the Roosevelt House for ten years. During that time, she and Mattye were great friends. I am so sorry for your loss. Mattye was a sweet person and always fun to be around. I always enjoyed talking with her. Your family is in my prayers.

Thinking of you my dear extended family. I married Robert, George Magan's son. Mattye and George were first cousins. I loved visiting your grandparents Murray and Vena and especially when their children came home for visits. Mattye always made me smile---she was such a kind, sweet lady. I have wonderful, life-lasting memories of those times------everyone laughed and shared stories-----fond, fond memories for me. Mattye touched my life with her gentleness and grace and I will forever be grateful. Please know that I am remembering you in prayer. Much love.

Will miss seeing her beautiful face and smile everyday and all the stories she shared. She loved her sons and grand baby's as she always liked to proudly boast about them. Such a sweet lady I had the privilege to get to know over the years. My heartfelt sympathy to the family of this great lady.
