I don't know for sure if I'll get over to the funeral home or not, so I wanted to express to you my sincere sympathy. Jane was a wonderful woman; but I don't have to tell you that!
I didn't know she worked in Washington DC! That was terrific!
I've known Jane since I started first grade. She always seemed to love her job at school.. I thought being a cheerleader sponsor was part of her job but you could tell she loved it!
After she left the school system and went to work for Dr. Lovett, I still saw her as Mom and I went to him until his retirement. For a while Mom took allergy shots and sometimes Jane would stop by our house or Mom would go to her house for Jane to give her the shots.
Jane was a very musically talented lady. She shared it at her church and with those who'd lost loved ones there at the funeral home.
Even after her retirement I'd see her at the hospital gift shop giving of her time. You couldn't keep a good woman down!
I know it has to be hard to say goodbye but I know it makes it easier knowing she's in Heaven!
Yes, Jane was a Christian lady!

Jane was a lady to look up too, and I believe she enjoyed everything she did. She had such a nice smile. Being their neighbor on the other street, I didn't see her as much as I would liked to. One thing I remember, they had red and green Christmas lights around their porch every Christmas. wishing for peace for all of you...

Will miss Jane. Haven't been with her in a few months. Health issues for both of us. I remember lots of good times with her. We went lots of places in our Red Hat Club. What fun. Loved to hear her play the organ at church. She played for our singing groups etc. I'm smileing as I sit here looking at her pic. I saved her sunset pictures. She loved them..Now when I see one on facebook,I think I should print that or send it to Jane. I save them thinking of her...and the ones she has on her wall... Ronnie took her fresh corn.and Sausage when we had Hogs..I could go on with the memories...
Praying for you... Love Faye Ashby

Tom & Marsha, you and your families are in my thoughts and prayers. I can still hear her laughter (laughing at us) on those card playing (Rook) nights many years ago. She had a way of lighting up a room and was a good role model! May God give you comfort during this time and rejoice in her loving memories.
