Dear Barbi, So sorry to read this obit and learn it was your grandmother, but yet glad to learn a bit about you since the good ol' days. Appears you are married with two little ones! Congratulations! Also, a happy hello to Matthew and Jessica. I never forgot you, Matthew with your sweet nature and wonderful mind, and Jessica's beautiful hair and eyes. I am so sorry your family is going through this sad time. I've been in Paducah for eleven and a half years (arrrgghh!) working at the Social Security Administration, so I am so behind on my friends from my "normal" life. Sadly, I learn a great deal of information by reading the obituaries, and it seems like so many of our older people, as well as many not-so-old friends and acquaintances have left this earth for their heavenly home. I know it's a happy time for those who have left, but it leaves those of us left here feeling a lot of empty spots in our hearts. If I ever get home (McLean or Daviess County(ies) again, there's going to be so many missing folks. God bless you all.
