Betty & family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We have lost several of our Galloway family in the last few years. I have pictures of the Galloways back to 1900 and records to 1740 from my trips to Owensboro for visiting family and research.

May God keep you and bless you as you adjust to life without Eddie.
David T. Galloway, son of Logan, and grandson of David R. Galloway, great-grandson of John Henry Galloway

Thank you to everyone for your prayers and well wishes. Betty I love you very much and miss you even more. Thank you for talking with me yesterday. I felt much better that the water is under the bridge and we can start a new and stronger relationship. We all miss Eddie a lot and will never forget all the wonderful things he did for others not to mention the hearts he touched . I love you -Edd

Where do I begin. My dad was a good man and a father who was always there for me. He pulled my ears quite a few times but put me on the right track of life. He made me see the importance of the Bible and praying to God for strength. When I was recently in the hospital his words rand out so I prayed every morning for God's strength to make it another day. He taught me one important thing I will never ever forget "Don't ever run from your problems." Tracking my father down in 2008 was the best thing I could have ever done for both of us. I miss you very dad but I know you are in a better place. I will always love you. You son

Betty and family our prayers are with you. We were so shocked to hear of Eddie's sudden passing.
We thought very highly of Eddie and always enjoyed his teasing and smile.
The world lost a good man but God gained a beautiful angel.
Rip our friend.

I was so sorry to learn of "Uncle" Eddie's death. What a wonderful, fun-loving, guy he was to all who knew him. His visits to dad meant so much to all of us, including dad. Dad often talked about Eddie just dropping by to see him on his way back home from work. Sometimes he would bring a "surprise" gift to dad, and we would get a kick out of seeing what he had brought dad. It might be a model car or truck or some sort of cute trinket he found at Walmart he thought dad would like. Uncle Eddie was sure serious and competitive about his bowling. We saw him bowl a few times when we were kids and going to the Ohio County Bowling Lanes with dad. Uncle Eddie was the only person I ever knew who could bowl a 300 game! (of course dad came close a few times) Bowling a 300, is something few people could brag about doing. Uncle Eddie always had a cheerful outlook, positive attitude, and was often joking around. He will surely be thought about and missed by all who have had the privilege of knowing him. Life passes by so quickly and soon we learn that we have let another opportunity to express our love for someone special slip away. Your family will be in our prayers in the days, weeks, and months ahead. Remember, God sees every tear that falls, but there will be no tears in Heaven, only rejoicing! Revelation 21: 4 " And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There will be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."
May you feel God's love & comfort as you grieve this significant loss.
Love,
Kathy Hughes (Bobby's oldest daughter)
