Dennis Ray McKinney 55, of Hartford, Kentucky died Thursday, October 20, 2016 at his home. Dennis Ray McKinney was born May 17, 1961 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Joseph Lawrence and Nina Lucille Daugherty McKinney. He was a farm laborer, loved fishing, and enjoyed working on lawnmowers. Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Joe McKinney and by a daughter, Catherine McKinney.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis McKinney, Jr and Joe McKinney both of Hartford; 2 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; his mother and step father, Nina and Larry Miller of Jewell City; three brothers, James McKinney of Rio, Sam McKinney, and Mike McKinney both of Owensboro; and three sisters, Doris Jewell of Beech Grove, Frances Buchanan of Henderson, and Betty McKinney of Owensboro.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Dennis’ family.
