Our condolences to the family. My sisters, Verna, Robbie and I were lucky to run into Mr. Bickett while we were visiting the old homestead in Jewel City a few years back. We love reminiscing about the church get togethers where everyone cooked up the great Kentucky Burgoo and the fact that our Dad (Bob Clark) and Mr. Bickett were always a big part of the event. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family,

Gary and family, so sorry to hear of your loss. I just lost my father in October, so I know how heart wrenching it can be. The pain eases over time, but you'll never stop missing him. Just have to look forward to a reunion in Heaven one day. Your whole family is in my prayers.

To all the family our prayers are with you all. It was always a treat for him to stop by when I worked for Dennis, if he was in his wrestling mood, it was going to be a tough afternoon for me. He will be missed in this county, a lot of knowledge is gone. Him and Dennis can get back to their mischief now.

I was fortunate enough to meet and know Alvin through my brother Wes Andrews and the father of two of his grandchildren. Alvin was a wonderful husband, father, veteran, and part of the Greatest Generation. Distinct pleasure to have known you Alvin.

Alvin was one of the farmers I looked forward to seeing at the ASCS/FSA office each year. He was always kind and respectful. His wisdom of life and farming helped me do a better job. I pray for your family.

Mr. Bickett was always a favorite. I know that my father considered him to be his friend and Dad always looked up to Mr. Bickett's farming skills.
