Willie McCoy

Willie McCoy  61, of Owensboro, Kentucky went to be with his mother in Heaven on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, Indiana.  William Henry McCoy was born June 29, 1955 in Washington Courthouse, Ohio to the late Lewis Curtis and Lucille Davis McCoy.  Willie was a truck driver for FedEx Freight and a member of the Baptist Faith.  He loved caring for his “Red Head” Camaro, enjoyed riding both 4-wheelers, motorcycles, and spending time with both his family and friends.  In addition to his parents, Willie was preceded in death by a brother, Michael McCoy.

          Survivors include a son, William Henry McCoy, Jr. and wife, Mindy of Owensboro; three daughters, Roxanne Roberts-Fortner and husband, Scott, Megan Mattingly, and Crystal Mattingly all of Owensboro; 9 grandchildren; a great grandson; two brothers, Lewis McCoy, Jr. of London, Ohio and George McCoy of Livermore; four sisters, Karen Burden McCoy of Owensboro, Diane Rice and husband, Les of Hawesville, Patricia McCoy of Livermore, and Teresa Jeffers and husband, Jeff of Hartford; several nieces and nephews.

          Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Larry Shadowen officiating.  Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Livermore.  Friends may visit with Willie’s family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday and from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Friday at Musters in Livermore.
