Steve and I served on the Enterprise together, he was a great guy, always giving and honest to a fault sometimes. I remember when his younger brother came to visit him, we had a blast! I looked for him for years to no avail, I hate to hear of his passing. RIP Steve, I'll always remember him.

Steve and I served together on the USS Enterprise back in the mid-19)0’s. He was a good man. We spent quite a bit of time together both out at sea and on shore. On my way home after separating from the Navy, another man and I stopped at his parents home in Ky to visit him. He was at home on leave and invited us to stop by. His folks welcomed us like family…it was clear where his kindness and good heart came from. They served us the best fresh calves liver that I’ve ever eaten. I’ve searched for him for many years trying to reconnect with him. I’m saddening by finding that he’s passed on. I’m confident that I’ll see him someday on the other side. Love and prayers to his family.

Steve was a little ahead of me in High school & we didn't run in the same circles! But Steve was always very nice, never giving anyone the impression that he was superior to them.....at least not me! Thank you Steve for your encouragement that you showed me! He always laughed a lot & had the most contagious smile! I send my prayers to your family & pray that their memories of you can ease the pain they're feeling in this difficult time! May God bless & keep you in his living arms! 💖
