Patricia A. “Pie” Humphrey  73, of 100 Wooten Lane; Island, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  Patricia Ann Miller was born June 26, 1941 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Fletcher E. and Sarah Wigginton Miller, was married to Chester E. Humphrey on March 1, 1960, and was given the affectionate name of “Pie” by her father.  She was a faithful member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church serving her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and a school teacher with 27 years of service.  The Livermore Help Office became a 20 year mission with numerous blessings fulfilled through the outpouring of her heart.  In addition to her parents, Pie was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Ann Humphrey, who died February 1, 1966 and by a brother, Junior.

          Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Chester Humphrey, Jr.; two sons and their wives, Kevin and Christie Humphrey of Utica and David and Jennifer Humphrey of Calhoun; four grandchildren, Holley Humphrey, Ellie Humphrey, Hadley Humphrey, and Gatlin Humphrey; a brother and his wife, Rick and Grace Miller of Island; two sisters, Pam Morris of Nashville and Peni Nelson and husband, Ronald of Livermore; numerous nieces, nephews, and beloved brothers and sisters in Christ.

          Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Revs. Jim White and George Phillips officiating.  Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in McLean County.  Friends may visit with Pie’s family from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Monday and from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Musters in Livermore.

          The Humphrey family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the entire medical staff who worked tirelessly to comfort our loving wife and gracious mother during her final days.
