Mary A. Day, 73, of Utica, Kentucky died Friday, April 8, 2016 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital . Mary Agnes Moore was born April 30, 1942 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky to the late James Odie and Velma Groves Moore. She was a homemaker and retired as a cook from Tyler’s Truck Stop Restaurant after 20 years. She was a Baptist and enjoyed cooking, dancing, and karaoke. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters; and two brothers: James Moore and William P. Moore.
Survivors include her companion, Gene Raymer; daughter Lisa Jackson (Wayne) of Owensboro; son Jeffery Harper (Ronnie) of Owensboro; grandchildren: Anthony Schutte (Catie), Jamie Schutte (Aeril), and Austin Denson; great grandchildren: Sarah Ann and Rachael Ann; brothers: Franklin Moore (Brenda) of Kuttawa, KY and Robert Moore (Chris) of Chicago, IL; sisters: Lois Morehead of Greenville, Margie Draper (Clayton) of Allegre, KY, Mildred Crick of Sacramento, and Shirley Pendley of Bremen; Gene’s family: David Raymer, Roy Raymer, and Barry Raymer (Nancy); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with Rev. J.W. Haire officiating. Burial will be at Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Mary’s family from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday and from 9:00 A.M. until time of service Tuesday at Musters in Calhoun.
