Lindle S. Revlett

Lindle S. Revlett  65, of Island, Kentucky died Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at his home.  Lindle Sherwood Revlett was born March 4, 1950 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Lucian and Mattie Pauline James Revlett and was married to the former Evelyn Marie Duncan on March 5, 1972.  Lindle was a Disabled U.S. Veteran from the Vietnam War, serving as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne.  He was a recipient of 2 Bronze Stars and 2 Purple Hearts.  In addition to his parents, Lindle was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Marie “Snoopy” Revlett, who died March 23, 2006.

          Survivors include a son, Joshua Revlett and companion, Danielle Doss of Island; two daughters, Tina Chambers of Owensboro and Melinda Davis and husband, Kyle of Henderson; six grandchildren, Cori Chambers, Shelby Chambers, Anthony Chambers, Lindle Chambers, Arrian Davis, and Tristan Davis; Danielle’s children, Tyler Doss, Justin Hocker, and Dillan Hocker; three brothers, Jim Revlett of Island, Jack Revlett of Livermore, and John Revlett of Island; and a sister, Jetta Daniel of Livermore.

          Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Lott officiating.  Burial will be in the Island Community Cemetery in McLean County with Military Honors conducted by the McLean County Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post #5415.  Friends may visit with Lindle’s family from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Thursday and from 8:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. Friday at Musters in Livermore.
