Kathleen 'Kitty' Coffman

Kathleen “Kitty” Coffman  78, of Owensboro, Kentucky, formerly of Livermore died Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Signature Healthcare at Hillcrest.  Kathleen Burden was born January 29, 1938 in Livermore, Kentucky to the late Leonard Louis and Fannie Bell Adkisson Burden.  She retired from the nutritional services department of the former Owensboro Daviess County Hospital and attended Buck Creek Baptist Church.  She enjoyed gardening, working in her flowers, feeding her birds, and deer hunting with her son.  In addition to her parents, Kitty was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald “Oll” Coffman; by a daughter, Mendie Lea Eaton; by a brother, Donnie Burden; and by sisters, Mary Kossen, Joan Latham, Janice Kay Willis, Patty Frizzell, and Nancy Logsdon.

          Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Carter and husband, Cary of Henderson and Susie Mauzy and husband, Bruce of Owensboro; a son, Michael Eaton of Livermore; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Mauzy-Martin and husband, Matt of Owensboro; her twin great granddaughters which are due in March; a brother, Shirley Burden; and five sisters, Becky Bishop, Judy McDaniel, Cherry Kuegel, Lynn McCann, and Donna Fielden.

          Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel.  Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Livermore.  Friends may visit with Kitty’s family from 11:30 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. Saturday at Musters in Livermore.

          The Kathleen “Kitty” Coffman family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Buck Creek Baptist Church, Building Fund; 3788 Highway 431 North; Calhoun, Kentucky  42327.  Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Livermore.

          The family would like to thank both Kitty’s sister, Cherry and the entire family at Hillcrest for the loving care of their mother.
