Willie 'Buddy' Pierce

     Willie ‘Buddy’ Pierce  77, of Hartford, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at his home near Hartford.  Willie Troy Pierce was born June 30, 1945 in Horse Branch, Kentucky to the late Noble and Hilda Mae Tarrance Pierce, was married to the former Nancy Ruth Kassinger August 19, 1967 and was better known as ‘Buddy’ to his family and friends.  Buddy was the owner and operator of Rollin’ Stone Trucking Company and a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Beaver Dam.  He enjoyed horseback riding, working on antique cars, and spending time with both his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, Buddy was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Stacey Basham.

     Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Nancy Pierce; a son, Willie Pierce, Jr. of Fordsville; two daughters, Angela Basham and Kristal Stewart (Steve) both of Beaver Dam; five grandchildren, Tiffany Basham Phelps (Christopher), Lucas Basham (Tiarra), Shane Agee, Caitlin Stewart, and Alexandria Stewart; and a sister, Cheryl Sanchez (Alfonzo) of Owensboro.

     Family services will be held at a later date at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Beaver Dam.  There will be no public visitation.  Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Buddy’s family.
