Waylon James O’Neal, 3 week old infant son of Daniel Braxton and Laci Jane Thaxton O’Neal, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at his home in Livermore.
In addition to his parents, Waylon James is survived by a brother, Danie Franklin O’Neal; his grandparents, Tonya O’Neal (Jason Swift), Trina Whitmer both of Island, Derrick Thaxton (Christina) of Madisonville, and Timothy Ott (Tiffany) of Bridgeman, Michigan; his great-grandparents, Danie and Rae O’Neal of Rumsey, Cecilia Powers, Brenda Burch both of Island, and Timothy Ott of Bridgeman; his great-great-grandparents, Jetta Daniels of Island and Connie Ott of Bridgman; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other loved ones.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 24, 2025 at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel. Burial will be in the Island Community Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Waylon James’ family from 12:00 P.M. (noon) until 1:00 P.M. Monday at Musters in Calhoun.
