Wanda S. Coon

Wanda S. Coon  79, of Sacramento, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 30, 2018 at her home in Sacramento.  Wanda Sue Dame was born March 14, 1939 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky to the late Earl and Oleta Blackwell Dame and was married to James Thomas Coon until his death November 10, 1967.  Wanda was a homemaker and member of Bethel Outreach Ministries in Livermore.  She enjoyed quilting, gardening and spending time with both her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

          Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Brummett (Joyce Sinnett) and Dallas James Coon (Tammy) both of Sacramento; 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; a brother, Roger Dame of Auburn; and four sisters, Dianne Doll of Owensboro, Linda Mahaney of Tell City, Indiana, Nancy Garner, and Lavern Schlomer both of Owensboro.

          Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Alan Harris officiating.  Burial will be in the Poplar Grove Cemetery in McLean County.  Friends may visit with Wanda’s family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday and from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Musters in Calhoun.
