     Sister Annette Hinton  91, of Livermore, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Riverside Care and Rehabilitation Center in Calhoun.  Annette Neal was born June 3, 1932 in Bremen, Kentucky to the late Andrew Johnson and Goldie Neal and was married to Lindel Earl Hinton on March 16, 1948.  Known to by her community as Sister Hinton, she lived a life marked by faith, family, and an unwavering commitment to her home town.

     Sister Hinton, alongside her husband, The Rev. Lindel E. Hinton, was a pillar of the community and a spiritual beacon as they founded the Bethel Pentecostal Church in Livermore.  Her dedication to her faith and congregation was evident in her many years of service, culminating in her retirement as a senior pastor from Bethel Outreach Ministries.  Her legacy within the church and the wider community will be remembered by all those whose lives she touched through her ministry and compassionate outreach.

     Known for her love of reading, Sister Hinton found solace and joy in the written word, often sharing the insights she gained with those around her.  Her culinary skills were legendary, and she was widely regarded as the best cook around.  Sister Hinton delighted in entertaining, frequently hosting large family gatherings and church meals that were a testament to her love for fellowship and her gift of hospitality.

     An avid University of Kentucky Basketball fan, Sister Hinton's enthusiasm for the game was infectious, and she enjoyed the camaraderie and excitement that came with cheering on her favorite team.  Her spirit and energy at these events were a reflection of the passion she brought to every aspect of her life.

     Sister Hinton's life was a tapestry woven with love, faith, and the joy of simple pleasures.  Her presence was a comfort and her guidance a constant source of strength for those who knew her.  Sister Hinton’s legacy will continue through the values she instilled, the community she helped build, and the countless lives she enriched.  Her life was a testament to the power of faith and the beauty of a life dedicated to serving others.

     In addition to her parents, Sister Hinton was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, the Rev. Lindel E. Hinton, who died January 15, 2001; by a great-great-granddaughter, Magnolia Lane Logsdon; and by a son-in-law, Kenny Daugherty.

     Sister Hinton is survived by a son, Darrell Hinton (Judi) of Livermore; three daughters, Pat Ashton (Van), Cathy Hardison (Leon) both of Livermore and Sandy Daugherty of Owensboro; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.

     Sister Hinton's life will be celebrated in a service that reflects the love and light she brought into the world.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 9, 2024 at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel.  Her final resting place will be in Green River Memorial Gardens, alongside her beloved husband, The Rev. Lindel E. Hinton, in the community that they both cherished and served with all their hearts.  Friends may visit with Sister Hinton’s family from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Thursday and from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Friday at Musters in Livermore.
