Pearl Coin 98, of Island, Kentucky passed away Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Riverside Care and Rehabilitation Center in Calhoun. Ima Pearl Paris was born September 29, 1927 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Homer and Carrie Frashure Paris, was married to Edward Lee Coin on February 8, 1946, and was better known as ‘Moma Pearl’ to both her family and friends.
Pearl was a homemaker, a member of Richland Baptist Church, and enjoyed writing poetry.
In addition to her parents, Pearl was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Edward L. Coin, who died May 10, 2016.
Pearl is survived by a son, David Coin (Brenda) of Beechmont; two daughters, Lois Crumbaker (Bernie) and Kay Crowe (David) both of Island; eight grandchildren, Brent Coin (Kim), Mark Coin (Terra), Brandon Coin (LeAnn), Angela Miller (Steve), Michael Crumbaker (Judy), Sabrina Geary, David Crowe (Tracy), and DeAnna Peercy (Troy); 20 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel. Burial will be in the Richland Baptist Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Pearl’s family from 11:30 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Musters in Livermore.
