Nola E. Abrams 86, of New Haven, Kentucky, formerly of San Angelo, Texas passed away Sunday, November 16, 2025 at her home. Nola E. Ray was born September 5, 1939 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Hershel and Cherry Drake Ray and was married to the late Gerald Whyman Abrams on June 18, 1955. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by s sister, Roxie Harper.
Nola was primarily a mother and homemaker, but also was a school bus driver and a certified childcare professional while they lived in Texas. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in San Angelo, TX. Nola enjoyed reading books, getting her nails done, and going out to eat with family and friends.
Nola is survived two sons, Gerald Abrams, Jr. (Virginia) of New Haven and Phillip Abrams of San Angelo; two daughters, Nancy Lozano of Riverbank, California and Candina Kent (Scott) of San Angelo; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Gay (Narville) Ellis of Sacramento.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 21, 2025 at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel. Burial will be in the Poplar Grove Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Nola’s family from 11:00 A.M. until time of services Friday at Musters in Calhoun.
