Mary Lou King 89, of Livermore; formerly of Greenville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at her home in Livermore. Mary Lou Howe was born February 21, 1936 in Flint, Michigan to the late Harry and Audrey Lee Howe. Mary Lou was widowed by her three husbands, Roy Dwyer, Roy Ed Taylor, and Jerry B. King.
Mary Lou was a homemaker and a member of No One Left Behind Tabernacle in Calhoun. She was considered the ‘Cross Lady’, making many handmade crosses and giving them to family friends, and anyone she came in contact with. Mary Lou spent the majority of her years devoted to sharing the gospel of Jesus, touching many lives with her unwavering belief and gentle spirit.
In addition to her parents and three husbands, Mary Lou was preceded in death by her daughter, Vicki Waldorf; and two sons, Doug Waldorf and Butch Waldorf.
Mary Lou is survived by six grandchildren, Trina Poore (Chris) of Livermore, Kyle English of Powderly, Brian of Tennessee, Harvey of Illinois, Charlene of Central City, and Becky of Indiana; and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, July 28, 2025 at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City. Friends may visit with Mary Lou’s family from 10:30 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Monday at Musters in Calhoun.
