Margaret Cotton

     Margaret Cotton  89, of Calhoun, Kentucky passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Ridgewood Terrace Health and Rehabilitation in Madisonville.  Margaret Marie Bartley was born April 25, 1935 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Charles and Chlora Patterson Bartley and was married to Jimmy Dale Cotton on June 22, 1957.

     Margaret was a homemaker and earlier worked as a CNA at Riverside Care and Rehabilitation Center in Calhoun.  She was a member of Calhoun Baptist Church, enjoyed working puzzles and loved Elvis.

     In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Jimmy D. Cotton, who died October 26, 2002; by two sons, Mitchell ‘Wink’ Cotton and Roger D. Cotton; and by a grandson, Johnny Ford.

     Margaret is survived by a son, Marvin ‘Tink’ Cotton (Genia) of Calhoun; two daughters, Carolyn Bartley of Calhoun and Debra Wilkerson (Art) of Nortonville; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

     Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, February 7, 2025 at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel.  Burial will be in the Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County.  Friends may visit with Margaret’s family from 11:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. Friday at Musters in Calhoun.
