Lyle W. Hampton

     Lyle W. Hampton  77, of Utica, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.  Lyle Winford Hampton, Jr. was born February 21, 1944 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Lyle Winford and Lila Shofner Hampton and was married to the former Brenda Kay Fentress January 2, 1972.  Lyle was a member of Riverside Pentecostal Church in Louisville and attended Bethel Outreach in Louisville.  He loved University of Kentucky Basketball, enjoyed going to church, singing, and playing cards.

     Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Brenda Hampton; a son, Tim Hampton (Stephanie) of Utica; 3 grandchildren; a brother, David Hampton of Louisville; and two sisters, Patsy Riveria of Albuquerque, New Mexica and Charlotte Parker of Louisville.

     Family services will be held at a later date.  There will be no public visitation.  Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Lyle’s family.
