Loretta Kittinger

     Loretta Kittinger  82, of the Pack Community in McLean County, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  Loretta Faye Howard was born March 23, 1943 in Island, Kentucky to the late John W. and Agnes Marie Gonterman Howard and was married to Larry Flener Kittinger on December 16, 1961.

     Loretta worked as a hairdresser for several years.  She enjoyed cross stitching, watching the birds, and spending time with her daughter, Maya.

     In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Larry Kittinger, who died January 25, 2009.

     Loretta is survived by her daughter, Maya Kittinger; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

     Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at the Poplar Grove Cemetery in McLean County.  There will be no public visitation.  Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Loretta’s family.
