LTC Christopher Lee Pitman (Ret.) 51, of Winter Garden, Florida passed away the morning of Saturday, July 19, 2025. Christopher Lee Pitman was born August 13, 1973 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Richard and Karen Ratliff Pitman and was married to the former Christina Parker.
Chris was a 1991 Graduate of McLean County High School, where he was a member of the varsity football team and a graduate of Murray State University. He retired from the U. S. Army a decorated war veteran. LTC Pitman worked at Walt Disney World as a Security Manager for the past eleven years.
Chris is survived by his loving wife of almost 30 years, Christina Parker Pitman; his children, Sarah Pitman and Jacob Pitman; his mother Karen Miller of Princeton; and his sisters, Jennifer Pitman of Owensboro, Stephanie Barber (Frank) of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Pamela Motley (Darrell) of Owensboro; his father Richard Pitman of Owensboro; and many nieces and nephews. He is also greatly missed by his dog, George.
A memorial service and Military Honors will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2025 in Winter Garden, Florida. A local memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 1, 2025 at Christ Tabernacle; 1839 U.S. Highway 62 West; Princeton, Kentucky. Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling local arrangements for Chris’ family.
