Karen Williams 78, of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026 at her home in Owensboro. Karen Lee Fayette was born March 9, 1947 in Glendale, California to the late Charles Louis and Marilyn Jean Hamilton Fayette and was married to Winfred Lynn Williams on May 27, 1983.
Karen retired as a bank and credit union manager, was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and earlier worked with Girls Inc. She enjoyed crocheting, tending to and caring for her flowers, watching and feeding the birds, loved going to the beach, and fishing with her husband.
Karen is survived by her husband of 42 years, Lynn Williams; a son, Tim Snyder, and his wife, Kelly of Albany, Oregon; a daughter, April Polk and her husband, Martin of Eugene, Oregon; a step-daughter, Kristy Alexander and her husband, Chad of Staunton, Illinois; three grandsons, BJ Bernardis, Baily Gates, and Michael Wilson; five great-grandchildren, Justin, Braydyn, Harper, Deacon, and Kenadie; and a brother, Randy Fayette and his wife, Patty of Nevada.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 6, 2026 at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel. Friends may visit with Karen’s family from 11:30 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Friday at Musters in Calhoun.
