Judy Burden Obituary

 

 

     Judy Burden  65, of Livia, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 27, 2020 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  Judith Ann Clark was born February 10, 1955 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Dewey Hobson and Oleda Mae Griffith Clark and was married to Roger Gary Burden January 1, 1972.  Judy was a food service assistant at McLean County Middle School and a member of Buck Creek Baptist Church.  She enjoyed gardening, caring for her flowers and spending time with both her family and friends, especially her six grandchildren.  Judy was preceded in death by her mother, Oleda Clark.

     Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Roger Burden; two daughters, Jennifer Tucker (Aaron) of Livia and Michelle Hughes (Michael) of Utica; six grandchildren, Ethan Tucker, Amelia Tucker, Cora Tucker, Madison Hughes, Mason Hughes, and Miles Hughes; her father, Dewey Clark, Jr. of Livia; two brothers, Dewey Clark, III of Heflin and Tony Schwartz (Sondra) of Livermore; five sisters, Doris Alexander (Donnie) of Clarksville, Indiana, Danita Evitts, Shelia Clark both of Livia, Paula Swihart (Glenn) of Buel and Cathy Jarvis (Chris) of Livermore; two brothers-in-law, Danny Burden (Dianna) of Whitesville and Mike Burden (Sheri) of Owensboro; two sisters-in-law, Sandy Burden of Owensboro and Kathy Hudson (Mike) of Guffie; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

     In compliance with health and public safety directives private family services will be held Thursday, April 30, 2020 at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Webb officiating.  Private burial will be in the Smith-Ratliff Cemetery in McLean County.

     Judy’s services will be streamed live on www.musterfuneralhomes.com at 2:30 P.M. Thursday.

     Musters will host a drive by public visitation for friends to support Judy’s family from 12:30 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.  Please enter from the Morton Avenue side of the funeral home and follow the safety cones.  Due to safety directives, please do not exit your car, but you are allowed to roll down your window and show your support to Judy’s family.

     The Judy Burden family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Smith-Ratliff Cemetery Fund; C/O Jennifer Tucker; 1720 West Harmons Ferry Road; Calhoun, Kentucky  42327.
