Joyce Reed

     Joyce Reed  82, of Livermore, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Envive Healthcare of Evansville.  Eunice Joyce Reed was born June 30, 1942 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Alney Pryce and Helen May Taylor Chambers and was married to Robert Gordon Reed on December 25, 1957.

     Joyce was a homemaker and served as a babysitter for several family members and friends for many years.  She was a member of Buck Creek Baptist Church, where she was active in the prayer card ministry.  Joyce also enjoyed working crossword puzzles, writing daily in her journal, watching and feeding the birds, and spending time with both her family and friends.

     In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Bob Reed, who died October 19, 2021 and by a son, Dale Reed.

     Joyce is survived by a son, Steven Reed of Livermore; two daughters, Sheila Duncan (Ernie) of Evansville and Renetta Smith (Steve) of Chandler, Indiana; a daughter-in-law, Karen Reed of Owensboro; 6 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

     Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, February 17, 2025 at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel.  Burial will be in the Buck Creek Baptist Cemetery in McLean Couty.  Friends may visit with Joyce’s family from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Monday at Musters in Livermore.
