Jon Burden, 56, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, formerly of Livermore, passed away Friday, January 2, 2026 at the Heartford House in Owensboro. Jonathan Neil Burden was born January 6, 1969 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Gerral B. and Marie Willadene Snyder Burden. He was better known as “Jon” to both his family and friends.
Jon was a 1987 graduate of McLean County High School and a member of Livermore General Baptist Church. He was the owner and operator of JB Promotions and was earlier a salesman for SuperCut in Central City. Jon enjoyed music and earlier being outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He loved spending time with both his family and friends, but Jon treasured time with his mother and grandchildren the most.
Jon was preceded in death by his father, Gerral Burden.
Jon is survived by two daughters, Taylor Burden of Owensboro and Bailey Burden of Philpot; four grandchildren, Kendan Minton, Kennedy McCullouch, Hayden Minton, and Haizleigh Woolridge; his mother, Willadene Burden of Livermore; a brother, Todd Burden (Cathy) of Livermore; niece, Emily Floyd (Nathan) of Calhoun; a nephew, Samuel Burden of Owensboro; and two great-nephews, Abel and Porter Floyd of Calhoun.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Pleasant Hope Cemetery in McLean County. There will be no public visitation. Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Jon’s family.
