Jerry Bennett

     Jerry Bennett  75, of Beech Grove, Kentucky passed away Sunday, July 26, 2026 at his home in Beech Grove.  Jerry Wayne Bennett was born November 13, 1950 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late John H. and Wilma G. Jarnagin Bennett and was married to the former Connie Alane Campbell on December 27, 1969.

     Jerry retired after 36 years of service from Aleris Aluminum in Hawesville and was a member of Beech Grove United Methodist Church.  He enjoyed riding his trike, loved taking a ride on his side by side, with his dog ‘Jax’ by his side, and spending time with both his family and friends, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

     Jerry is survived by his wife of 56 years, Connie Bennett; a son, Jonathan Bennett of Beech Grove; a daughter, Stacy Bennett Riley (Jeff) of Owensboro; three grandchildren, Judell Coleman, Landon Bennett (Alyssa), and Kash Leslie; and two great-grandchildren, Owen Bennett and Millee Bennett.

     Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. (noon) Monday, August 10, 2026 at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel.  Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens in Owensboro.  Friends may visit with Jerry’s family from 10:30 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. (noon) Monday at Musters in Calhoun.
