Jean Middleton

     Jean Middleton  86, of Calhoun, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 22, 2022 at the Heartford House in Owensboro.  Iris Jean Sunn was born April 22, 1936 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Charles Raymond and Cenia Lucille Tomes Sunn.  Jean retired as a cook from Riverside Care and Rehabilitation Center in Calhoun and was a member of Calhoun Baptist Church.  She loved planting flowers, talking to her friends on the internet and spending time with both her family and friends.  In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy Sunn and Doug Sunn and by a sister, Joyce Harris.

     Survivors include three sons, Terry Middleton of Calhoun, Phillip Middleton (Teri Fleischmann) of Owensboro and Don Middleton (Lisa McCormick) of Utica; three daughters, Marcia Winters of Spottsville, Dalida Smith (Steve) of Henderson and Shirley McCrady of Calhoun; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a sister, Erlene Rutan of Lake Jackson, Texas; several nieces and nephews.

     Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at Calhoun Cemetery with the Rev. Tab Cook officiating.  There will be no public visitation.  Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Jean’s family.
