Elaine Bell West

     Elaine Bell West  75, of Owensboro, Kentucky, formerly of Rumsey went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at the Heartford House in Owensboro.  Ruth Elaine Bell was born February 16, 1947 in Daviess County, Kentucky to the late Raymond and Mary Beauton Logsdon Bell.  She retired as a pharmacy technician from Wal-Mart on Highway 54 in Owensboro, earlier was the owner and operator of Elaine’s Beauty Shop in Calhoun and was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church in Owensboro.  She enjoyed quilting, traveling and spending time with both her family and friends.  In addition to her parents, Elaine was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Bell; by a sister, Charlene Bell; by a grandson, Alex Simpson; and by a son-in-law, Jeff Millay.

     Survivors include a son, John West (Margaret) of Owensboro; a daughter, Robin Millay of Owensboro; five grandchildren, Rebecca Hodskins, Carter Simpson, Zane West, Zach West and Cayden Millay; two great grandchildren, Cloud Hodskins and Finley Hodskins; a sister, Martha Adell O’Bryan of Owensboro; and her companion and special friend, Jerry Ford of Clarksville, Tennessee.

     Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with Dr. Richard Sams officiating.  Burial will be in the St. Charles Cemetery in Livermore.  Friends may visit with Elaine’s family from 12:30 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. Saturday at Musters in Calhoun.
