Dewey H. Clark, Jr. 90, of Livia, Kentucky passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025 at his home. Dewey Hobson Clark, Jr. was born November 9, 1934 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Dewey Hobson and Settie Ozetta Ratliff Clark, and was married to Oleda Mae Griffith Clark until her death on December 12, 2003.
Dewey was a lifelong farmer but also worked and retired from Green River Steel after 32 years. He was a member of Pleasant Hope General Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and especially spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Dewey was preceded in death by his wife Oleda; daughters, Judy Burden and Danita Evitts; seven brothers; five sisters; grandson, Roger Dale Benningfield, Jr.; and a son-in-law, Herbie Stewart.
Survivors include two sons, Dewey H. Clark, III of Livia, Tony Schwartz (Sondra) of Livermore; four daughters, Doris Alexander (Donnie) of Clarksville, IN, Sheila Clark of Livia, Paula Swihart (Glenn) of Calhoun, Cathy Jarvis (Chris) of Livermore; two bonus sons, Roger Burden of Livia, Jay Velotta (Lynn) of Owensboro; two bonus daughters, Patty Cary of Indiana, Theresa Goldsberry (John) of Owensboro; too many grandblessings to count extending for five generations; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel. Friends may visit with Dewey’s family from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday and from 9:00 A.M. until services Thursday at Musters in Calhoun. Burial will be in the Smith-Ratliff Cemetery in McLean County.
