Debbie Gillette 66, of Livermore, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at her home in Livermore. Deborah Ann Hillard was born September 16, 1953 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Estle Murl and Phyllis Rea Caudle Hillard and was married to Kenneth Eugene Gillette May 12, 1973. Debbie retired from U.S. Bank in Owensboro and was a member of Bethel Outreach Ministry in Livermore. She enjoyed decorating, gardening, caring for her flowers, and spending time with both her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis Hillard and David Hillard.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Kenneth Gillette; a son, Nathan Gillette of Livermore; a daughter, Amanda Gillette of Livermore; four grandchildren, Caitlin Meeker (Shevy), Gabrielle Gillette, Gracy Gillette and Ethan Gillette; a great granddaughter, Madeline Meeker; two brothers, Howard Hillard (Charlene) of Livermore and Estle “Buddy” Hillard, Jr. (Darlene) of Utica; three sisters, Rose Howard, Lynn Mason (Ricky) both of Livermore and Carla Kassinger of Central City; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Livermore with Rev. Becky Case officiating. There will be no public visitation. Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Debbie’s family. Due to the Governor’s mandate, masks or facial coverings are required during all services.
