David R. Collings

     David R. Collings  63, of Calhoun, Kentucky passed away Monday, September 15, 2025 in McLean County.  David Randall Collings was born January 24, 1962 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Carol Edwin and Thelma Rhea Hayden Collings.

     David retired as a construction laborer and earlier worked at Tyson Foods.  He enjoyed raising and training German Shepherds.

     In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Collings; and by two sisters, Mary Collings and Jeannie Hope.

     David is survived by his long-time companion, Vicki Sallee; a son, Colten Collings (Sarah Angelle) of Bowling Green; a daughter, Amber Collings of Calhoun; two step daughters, Jennifer Green of Livermore and Kendra Mitchell (Willie) of Calhoun; 3 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; and seven sisters, Belinda Thomson of Owensboro, Carol Hulette of Beaver Dam, Cathy Stewart of Utica; Jane Gotowicki, Lori English both of Owensboro, Ellen Cole of Louisville, and Amy Collings of Owensboro.

     Family services will be held at a later date.  There will be no public visitation.  Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for David’s family.
