Chris Baker Obituary

Chris Baker 59, of Muncie, Indiana; formerly of Calhoun, Kentucky, Benton, Kentucky and Zebulon, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at his home in Muncie. John Christopher Baker was born August 5, 1961 in Calhoun, Kentucky to the late Thomas Hughes and Mary Alice Simon Baker. Chris was a tow boat pilot for the Crounse Corporation in Benton, Kentucky, worked for Continental Tire in Georgia for 25 years and currently enjoyed working at Wal-Mart in Muncie. Chris enjoyed NASCAR, hunting, fishing and playing golf. In addition to his parents, Chris was preceded in death by a brother, Charlie Baker.

Survivors include a brother, Tom Baker (Krista) of Fishers, Indiana; four nephews, Zack Baker, Justin Baker (Alisha), Adam Baker, and Jacob Baker; and a niece, Ashley Baker.

Family graveside services at Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County, Kentucky will be held at a later date. There will be no public visitation. Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Chris’ family.
