Andy Roby 51, of Calhoun, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at the Heartford House in Owensboro. James Andrew Roby was born November 21, 1973 in Owensboro, Kentucky to James Herman and Mary Jane Bassett Roby and was better known as ‘Andy’ to both his family and friends.
Andy was previously employed by Southern States in Owensboro and a member of By His Side Fellowship of Owensboro. He was a die-hard New Orleans Saints fan and enjoyed playing the guitar as well as spending time with both his family and friends.
Andy is survived by his mother, Mary Jane Freels (Buddy Roby) of Utica; his father, James Herman Roby (Teresa) of Ohio County; two brothers, Chris Roby (Karen) of Owensboro and Chad Roby (Amy) of Pickerington, Ohio; and five sisters, Kanetha Vanover, Nicole Griffith both of Owensboro, Amanda Roby (Jerry Stanley) of Greenville, Kim Roby (Brandon Nicklaus) of Island, and Sarah Roby-Caraballo (Juan) of Pickerington.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel. Burial will be in the Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Andy’s family from 10:30 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Musters in Calhoun.
