Ancle Wilson, of Utica, Kentucky passed away Friday, July 4, 2025, at his home. Ancle Joseph Wilson was born December 12, 1938 in Calhoun, Kentucky to the late Conrad Ancle & Flora Mae Frashure Wilson and was married to the former Bonnie Faye Dillingham on August 19, 1962.
Ancle retired as an animal groomer at Kentuckiana Animal Clinic in Owensboro after 58 years of service and was a minister for 49 years and the pastor at Pleasant Ridge Holiness Church. He was an Army Veteran and loved U.K. Basketball.
In addition to his parents, Ancle was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Bonnie D. Wilson; and two brothers, Author Wilson and James L. “Jim” Wilson and a step son Gary Vanover.
Ancle is survived by two daughters; Joanna Mattingly (Mike), Flora Lee Morgan both of Owensboro; step-daughter Judy Blaase of Charleston, WV; two step-sons, Lonnie Vanover of Montana, Johnnie Ray Vanover of Gun Barrel, Texas; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren;; sister Gloria Troutman of Owensboro; brother Victor Wilson of Beech Grove; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel. Burial will be in the Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County with military honors presented by V.F.W. Post #5415. Friends may visit with Ancle’s family from 12:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. Saturday at Musters in Calhoun.
