Allen Hedges Obituary

 

 

 

     Allen Hedges  75, of Livermore, Kentucky passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  Allen Hoover Hedges was born January 12, 1950 in Hartford, Kentucky to the late Joseph Lee and Violet Ray Hoover Hedges and was married to the former Eula Frances ‘Nan’ Mitchell in July of 1986.

     Allen was a heavy equipment operator and eventually retired from the Daviess County Landfill.  He was a member of the Baptist Church.  Allen loved both fishing and being on the Green River.

     In addition to his parents, Allen was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Frances ‘Nan’ Hedges, who died November 28, 2024; by his son, Joey Hedges; by a brother, Brosco Hedges; and by a sister, Lynn Haynes.

     Allen is survived by a daughter, Melissa May Allen (Rick) of Island; four grandchildren, Dexter Hedges, Taylor Hedges, Jaycee Hedges, and Jacob Hedges; and a brother, Donald Hedges of Cape Coral, Florida.

     Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel.  Burial will be in the Green River Memorial Gardens in Livermore.  Friends may visit with Allen’s family from 12:00 P.M. (noon) until 3:00 P.M. Tuesday at Musters in Livermore.
