Adora Davis-Monroe 65, of Island, Kentucky passed away Friday, December 13, 2024 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Adora Lane Davis was born January 14, 1959 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late George William ‘G.W.’ and Dortha Lee Smith Davis.
Adora retired as an IT Security Consultant. She loved gardening, caring for her yard, and cooking.
Adora is survived by a son, Richard Monroe (Whitney) of Haymarket, Virginia; a daughter, Alex Walsh of Orange, Virginia; three grandchildren, Hailey Walsh, Lacey Walsh, and Matthew Monroe; and three brothers, Maurice Davis (Debbie), Tommy Davis (Amy) both of Owensboro, and Randy Davis (Beverly) of Beaver Dam.
Family services will be held at a later date. There will be no public visitation. Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Adora’s family.
