Ada Y. 'Boonie' Waltrip

     Ada Y. ‘Boonie’ Waltrip  67, of Calhoun, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at her home near Calhoun.  Ada Yvonne Mauzy was born January 9, 1953 in Monticello, Kentucky to the late Fred Arnold and Betty Zue Marsh McKinley, was married to Carlin Dean Waltrip July 25, 1984 and was better known as ‘Boonie’ to both her family and friends.  She was a homemaker.

     Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Carlin Waltrip; and two brothers, Craig Mauzy and Ray Mauzy both of Owensboro.

     To honor Ada’s wishes, there will be no public services.  Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Ada’s family.
