Terry R. Thompson

Terry R. Thompson  69, of Madisonville, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Baptist Health Madisonville.  Terry Ray Thompson was born November 25, 1948 in Daviess County, Kentucky to the late E.R. and Mildred Rickard Thompson.  Terry was the former owner & operator of Green River Auto in Calhoun, had been recently working at AutoZone in Madisonville, and was a member of Sacramento United Methodist Church.  He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and loved both building models and grilling for his family and friends.  In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by a daughter, Amber Thompson Riley, who died September 12, 2015.

          Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Nicole and Dan Dennis of Canon City, Colorado; five grandchildren, Jade McManus, Anthony Lambiase, Gabriel Dennis, Autumn Riley, and Summer Riley; a sister and her husband, Iris and Jeff Northern of Coronado, California; a nephew and his wife, Ryan and Stefanie Murphy of Tucson, Arizona, and their children, Conner and Caylee.

          Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Steve Delashmit officiating.  Burial will be in the Sacramento Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery in Sacramento with Military Honors conducted by the McLean County Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post #5415.  Friends may visit with Terry’s family from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday and from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Musters in Calhoun.
