Shirley F. Wilson

Shirley F. Wilson  74, of Livia, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 13, 2018 at her home.  Shirley Faye Ford was born January 9, 1944 in Calhoun, Kentucky to the late John Ellis and Anna Gene Howard Ford and was married to Wayne Wilson January 9, 1962.  Shirley was a bus driver for Daviess County Public Schools, retired from G.E. in 1997 with more than 30 years of service, owned and operated Geno’s Pizza in Livermore for more than 20 years, and was a member of Pleasant Hope General Baptist Church in McLean County.  She enjoyed quilting, any sporting events her family participated in, going out to eat with friends, shopping for many hours, traveling, camping, playing cards, and she loved her dog, Pepper.  In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Wayne Wilson, who died March 29, 2000.

          Survivors include three sons and their wives, Mike and Kristi Wilson of Philpot, Brian and Christy Wilson of Livia, and Warren and Carla Wilson of Owensboro; seven grandchildren, Tori Wilson (Drew Edwards), Corbin Wilson (Tanner), Hunter Wilson, Cable Wilson, Lane Wilson, Hallie Wilson, and Harley Wilson; a great granddaughter, Shelby Edwards; a sister, Mary Ann Trunnell of Livia; several nieces and nephews.

          Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Pleasant Hope General Baptist Church with the Revs. Tracy Burnett and Ron Hampton officiating.  Burial will be in the Pleasant Hope Cemetery in McLean County.  Friends may visit with Shirley’s family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday and from 9:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at Musters in Livermore.
