Ruby “Dujum” Puckett 77, of Livermore, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 15, 2018 in Owensboro. Ruby Garst was born July 21, 1940 in Livermore, Kentucky to the late Joseph William and Bobbie Ruth Crowder Garst and was better known as “Dujum” to both her family and friends. Ruby retired from the former Owensboro Mercy Health Systems, earlier worked at the Owensboro Cigar Factory and was a member of the Baptist Faith. She loved caring for her flowers, country music and going on her impromptu road trips.
Survivors include a daughter, Amy Garst Menze of Owensboro; a granddaughter, Salem Menze of Owensboro; a brother, Allen Garst of Martinez, Georgia; and three sisters, Frances Hughes, Dean Hatfield both of Owensboro and Laura Peters of Livermore.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Mark Poiles officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Livermore. Friends may visit with Ruby’s family from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday and from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Musters in Livermore.
