Ronnie Ashby 80, of Livermore, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on May 20, 2018 at his home in Nuckols. Rondal Darrell Ashby was born February 2, 1938 in the Nuckols Community of McLean County to the late Ernest Franklin and Ida Bell Wigginton Ashby and was married to the former Alice Faye Slaton March 23, 1957. Ronnie was a lifelong farmer, a co-founder and former partner of A & S Fabricating in Livermore, a member of Livermore Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Ashby, Jr. and by a sister, Barbara Phillips.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Faye Ashby; a son and his wife, Chris and Kelly Ashby of Port St. Lucie, Florida; a daughter, Ronda Faye Ashby of Keaau, Hawaii; and two grandchildren, Katie Ashby and Zack Ashby.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Revs. Tommy Webb and Clive Bell officiating. Burial will be in the Buck Creek Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Ronnie’s family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday and from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Musters in Livermore.
